My baby girl Mila modelling with me, this photo is a recent shoot with a Russian photographer based in Kuala Lumpur @katephotoKL.
My look was inspired by the traditional ladies style of a Brazilian state call Bahia, back in my native Brazil- e viva o acarajé. With the significant impact that Covid-19 has had in my Country; over 3Million cases and more than 200K fatalities, I send my love and strength to my countrymen

I have worked with Xixili for almost a decade now, since I first came to Malaysia. When they approached me for their show this year, they mentioned they would like to have me on the runway with my baby bump! I was surprised and super excited about this opportunity I didn’t hesitate to take them up on their offer. The concept for the show was a water runway, with a unique mix of models, each representing our own unique style and body shape. It was such a great idea and so progressive to see this in Malaysia!
✨ I was so proud to be a part of this shift in the industry, representing and celebrating women’s diversity. This was the first time Xixili had a pregnant lady, as well as plus size models on the runway. Congratulations to @xixili_intima for taking this bold step towards breaking down stereotypes and empowering the women of Malaysia💕💁🏻♀️

I was so happy when my beautiful sister-in-law, Sara and one of my best friend's, Raiza told me they were organising a baby shower for me, to celebrate the upcoming arrival of baby number two! After having a boy last time, it was so lovely to experience something different this time with a rose gold theme for our baby girl.
I really feel blessed to already have one beautiful, healthy boy, and now a baby girl on the way. To have one of each is a wonderful feeling and I can't wait to see what we experience next and how we adapt to juggling between two; our growing toddler and a newborn - both eager for our love and attention in their own way.
This journey has also given me a lot of time to reflect on my first pregnancy and the past two and a bit years with Liam. I just keep thinking to myself - where has the time gone? As we edge closer to the due date of our little girl, I can recall the nerves and natural anxieties from the first time around but this time, I am definitely feeling more confident and relaxed in many ways. I guess there is comfort in knowing more about what to 'expect when you're expecting'!
There are still a lot of unknowns, however Martin, Liam and I just can't wait to meet this little angel. I'm wondering who she is going to look like, whether she is going to be mummy or daddy's girl, etc etc. We will just have to be patient and wait and see!
The theme for this baby shower was 'Oh Baby: Rose Gold' for a slightly more modern twist on the traditional baby shower colour scheme. So many of my good friends came and showered me and baby girl with love, at one of my favourite, cosy Danish restaurants in Bangsar. Thank you all once again for coming!
Sara (my sister-in-law) and Raiza, who together, make up @labamba_events - a huge thank you for putting all of this together and creating another wonderful baby shower! Below are the wonderful vendors who made this day as special as it was:

They say time has a wonderful way of reminding us about what is truly important in life,.. and I 100% agree. I can't believe our little Liam is already two years old! Martin and I couldn't be more happy and proud of the gorgeous little boy he's become.
To celebrate this milestone, we decided to throw Liam a party with the fitting theme: We love you TWO the moon and back. The event team did a great job bringing my ideas to life with great props, decor, and creating a wonderful ambience overall. The party was beautiful and memorable, as we had so many of our closest family and friends around us, helping celebrate Liam. This also seemed like a perfect opportunity to learn the gender of baby #2, so we arranged something special - scroll down to learn more ;-)
Sister or brother?
We couldn't think of a better day to announce this and wanted it to be something Liam could look back on in years to come and be proud that he was the one to pop the balloon to discover if he'd be big brother to a little sister, or brother....
Unfortunately, Liam hurt his finger moments before the big reveal, so Martin and I had to take over.... and it is.... A GIRL!
Words cannot describe the overwhelming feelings and emotions I felt when I saw the pink balloons flying up into the air! I was ecstatic (I thought I was having a girl when pregnant with Liam), and Martin had also been hoping for a girl this time... the expressions on our faces say it all, right?
We are all looking forward to meeting this sweet little girl in September and I really can't wait to see how Liam takes to the big brother role. He is such a caring boy, I'm sure he'll be an adoring big brother to his little sister, so #WatchThisSpace. Thank you my love, Martin for all your help and support with the party.
I'd also like to say a big thank you to our dear family and friends for joining us on the special day. Huge thanks and appreciation also goes to the amazing team of vendors who made this birthday party theme come to life:

With Brazil being a former Portuguese colony, I've been longing to tick off Portugal from my holiday destination bucket list for some time now. Plus, now that Liam is getting to an age where he's talking more and learning how to speak Portuguese, this trip couldn't have come at a better time!
We arrived in the capital of Lisbon and spent two nights exploring the city and trying some of the traditional delicacies. I felt at home right away, chatting with the locals in my native language, and there were lots of Brazilians around. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at @zenitcafe, then head out on a tour via tuk-tuk for an hour, visiting the tallest points of the city to get amazing bird's-eye views. For those who are considering a visit to Lisbon with little ones, be warned - it is not flat! The city has a lot of hills and cobble stone streets, so it's not the easiest place to get around with a toddler (and stroller).
After a short time in Lisbon, we ventured to the south, which we were really looking forward to; some chill time in a beautiful resort by the Algarve Region. We chose @vilalarathalassaresort and what a stunning place it was, located at Praia das Gaivotas.
We spent most of our days at the beach, which was just perfect for our 'baby moon'. The weather was lovely with most of the days reaching around 25 degrees celsius, however the water was freezing cold - too cold for me to go swimming!
We really enjoyed spending quality time here as a family and Liam enjoyed collecting seashells. Martin and I was very pleased with the authentic local cuisine, especially the garlic prawns 'gambas' style, bacalhau and leite de nata. We both have a soft spot for fresh seafood and yummy desserts, haha!
If you're considering a trip like this with small kids, we recommend taking the bus from Lisbon to the Algarve region. This was a much easier way to travel with Liam and only took about 3 hours, so it's actually also faster than the train and is super affordable. If you have any questions or want more tips, let me know!

I feel you never quite know what you're in for with on long haul flight. Then add a toddler and a pregnant lady to the equation and things could get really interesting!
Thankfully, it all went super well and we arrived feeling not too jet lagged and ready to spend some quality time with family. We usually come to Denmark once a year and really enjoy exploring the lovely city of Copenhagen and the other parts we've been lucky enough to visit. The weather was fine, but still a bit cold for us as we've become so used to the warmth and humidity of Malaysia.
However, it's also nice to feel a little cooler and be able to wear a jacket, jeans, and boots, as these are the the small things you kind of miss when you live in the tropics! We really enjoy some of the traditional Scandinavian food, like open-faced sandwiches called Smørrebrød and their street hot-dogs (a favourite for both Martin and I). So yummy!

Martin and I are so excited to announce that baby number 2 is on the way - turning our family of three into four, this September! Plus, our little Liam is going to be a big brother!
Being pretty wrapped up in the excitement of this news, we let Liam be the first to know, but we weren't too sure if he really understood what all the fuss was about?! However, the little smile that followed indicated he is probably more aware of things than we realised. The very next day after we found out we were expecting, a cute idea popped into my head and I thought - this is a moment we need to capture. So we thought, what better way to share this news with friends and family than through beautiful pictures of Liam telling the world that he will a Big Brother! Thankfully, Martin actually agreed and loved the idea too!
So here you are,... enjoy these cute and joyful moments of Liam sharing this exciting news, with amazing facial expressions and all:
I mean, he's just the cutest, melts my heart. So, only a few months to meeting our new little addition to our family. I am nervous, excited, and both of those things mixed up. I will keep you updated here more! Have a great week ahead.
