Dani Maia was born and raised in the small town of Formiga, Minas Gerais, Brazil. She began modelling at the age of 14 after entering a model search competition and a renowned agency then signed the young beauty to their label. After completing high school, Dani moved to the fashion capital of São Paulo to pursue her career further. 

Soon after, she was met with the opportunity to travel and work as an international model, venturing from her homeland of Brazil to numerous countries around the world. Her versatile portfolio includes TV commercials, magazine covers, short films, music videos, television dramas, as well as photographic and catwalk modelling. 

The mother of almost two (with a baby girl due later this month) is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and has worked as a freelance TV host, actress, and model for several internationally acclaimed designers and brands including Gucci, Omega, Mouawad Jewellery, Audi, Samsung, Malaysian Airlines, Fashion TV, Panasonic, Nescafe and more. Dani is eager to explore new opportunities relating to fashion and motherhood in this next chapter of her life.
